The Friends of the Ferguson Home and the Plains Collective collaborated on the second Living Traditions series Dec. 4, 2025. This is a new Cheyenne-Arapaho initiative to showcase native-American Art, literature, dress, language, culinary customs and other aspects of Cheyenne-Arapaho and other plains Indians culture.

In this meeting, Albert Old Crow introduced William Bullcoming of Hammon who explained the details of the tribes emblem. Then James Black, a Watonga graduate, demonstrated his exquisite drawings on ledger paper. Drawing on ledger paper was common among detainees at Fort Marion, Florida and continues today.
