Ferguson Booth at Holiday Bazaar

by | Dec 6, 2025 | Past Events

T. B. and Elva Ferguson served as Governor and First Lady of the Territory of Oklahoma, 1901-1906. They lived in Watonga in a home they built at 521 N. Weigle Ave., represented by the model. Businesses and individuals decorated the mansion with holiday trees. Appreciation was shown by voting for a specific tree. Annually, the Home, Community, Education Clubs of Blaine County host a holiday Bazaar at the Blaine County Fair Grounds on the first Saturday of December (December 6, 2025). It is a great time to pick up hand-crafted gifts or home-made baked or canned goods. Here, Connie Burcham, President of the Friends of the Ferguson Home, and Member Teresa Bryan demonstrate the model of the home decorated for the holidays, along with mailboxes where gifts to Santa are used to vote on the best holiday tree at the Ferguson.
