Breakfast with Santa and Santa at the Ferguson Museum

by | Dec 6, 2025 | Past Events

The Friends of the Ferguson Home, along with the Noble House Hotel in Watonga, hosted the first “Breakfast with Santa”. This was the brainchild of Friends Vice-President Michelle Mendenhall. Children and parents were treated to a breakfast prepared by the Noble House and then enjoyed coloring, games, stories with Mrs. Claus (Janine Espy) and a chat with Santa (Roy Espy). The cost was $20 per child and easily sold out. Proceeds will be used to produce educational and cultural programs.

Mrs. Elva Ferguson writes about the importance of Christmas cheer for the first Watonga Christmas (Dec. 1892) in her book, “They Carried the Torch: The Story of Oklahoma’s Pioneer Newspapers. See the article in the Ferguson Features section.

And for some years, Roy and Janine have played Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Ferguson Home Museum. in 2025, they were receiving guests on Friday Saturday and Sunday afternoons the 3rd and 4th weekends of December.
